4.1 Lokmen Chekki

We had a visitor called Lokmen Chekki come in today to talk about Film, he is a production assistant and works with cameras a lot. He has been working in the industry for 5 years now and has worked on the BBC as a cameraman; he has also made a few short movies for festivals.

He first talked about what cameras was like in the 1870s, about camera Obsura that was the first camera, and how it revolved to experimenting and then in 1898 they discovered the first moving pictures, a while after that the Lumiere Brothers were they first people to make money out of it, and there was the ‘birth of cinema’.
