4.1.3 Equipment A

What equipment can I use?

Think about all the recording resources available to you, for example cameras – still and moving image; digital recorders; laptops and personal digital recorders (PDRs); desktop-publishing software.

Now think about where these resources can be found, if you need to book them, how to book them and when they are available.

Name of equipment	Where it can be found	When it is available	How to book it
Camera (For the filming)	In the Creative and Media room.	It is available from Monday-Friday; with permission you can take it on Saturday.	Talk to Mr. Williams, hw will right your name down and you can take it, but bring it back on the deadline he gives you.
Tripod (For a steady picture whilst filming)	It will be found in the media office	It is available from Monday-Friday, school hours.	Ask Mr. Williams or ask Mr. Macintosh, give them a date for when it is needed.
IMac Computer	In T14, Creative and Media room.	Monday-Friday lunch times, also after school on Tuesdays till 4:30.	Come on the day and sign your name on the register.
IMovie (To edit the video)	In T14 or T16 (classrooms) on the IMac computers	Monday to Friday lunch times.	Sign yourself in on the day (come early to guarantee a computer.)
